Petals falling on the ground

Really little ducklings following their mother

It’s amazing, flowers are growing

Nest built be birds

Grass growing really quickly

Precious lilies open in spring

Refreshing watermelon to eat

Indigo violets spread across the meadow

Nothing prettier than flowers blooming in spring

Cross Country Stories

Our stories about our experiences running the cross country.

At the start line……………

At the start line I felt like I was going to win. I could see people.  They were cheering for me.

I came 5^th in the cross country.  Ody  came  6^th.  I pretended there was a tiger chasing me.  I heard most people cheering loudly for me.  I saw that I was coming 5^th.  I felt I was running like a cheetah.

At the start line I felt excited because I was going to run the cross country. I could see lots of people coming and I could see people cheering for me.

 I felt like I wanted to be first. I heard Mum and Dad cheering for me when I was running the cross country.  At the start of the race I felt I didn’t wasn’t to come last.  I tried my best to beat Thomas but I couldn’t beat Thomas.  He was too fast at the end. I finished the race and I didn’t come last.

 At the start line I felt happy because I was going to go and run the cross country.  I was running as fast as I could go.

I felt like I was as fast as the wind at the start but I was also nervous too. I was faster than Thomas.  I heard cheering and shouting for me.  I felt great, I was trying my best. I felt full of energy at the start line. I was so happy because I wanted to be champion of all.  When I ran I felt like I was going to be 5th.  I could see my Dad and Mum and my Dad said “keep running’.  When I was at the finish line Parth tried to beat me, but I beat Parth.

When the cross country happened I heard people cheering for me and Mr Harrison calling out.  I saw a goal post, hay bales and other children.  I felt happiness coming into my heart.  I could feel my heart getting happier and happier when my mum cheered for me.  When the cross country was over mum got a book.

I saw my friends run past.  I heard my mummy yelling “go Daisy go, go, go Daisy go.”  I ran to the hay bales.  I felt worried and happy.  “Mum” I said before I finished “Thomas won”.

Once a mouse called Mars was going to space.  He was excited.  Mars invited his friends, Jupiter and Pluto.  They built a rocket ship that had three seats.  They blasted off to space.  But they got stuck in the Milky Way because there were lots of meteors.  Then Mars had an idea.  He got out of the space ship and swung his tail over and under a thousand times around the Milky Way………………………

A boy called Zack built a rocket ship.  It was a very special rocket ship.  He loved it. He wanted to go to the moon.

Once there was a very clever dog called Rex.  He was a secret spy.  He could build a tower or a jet plane.  He is sneaky and he’s likes to build gadgets and machines.

Rex thought of something exciting to make. Rex grabbed his toolbox out of the shed.  He put the toolbox on the bench and he built a jet plane. It had an invisible shield so meteors won’t damage the jet plane.  After seven days the jet plane was ready to go to space.

Steve got out his parachute from his mine craft power spy jet.

One day there was a cat called Chip.  Chip loves to have adventures in the dark wood because she is an adventure cat.  Chip bought a parachute from a shop called ‘Everything’.  Chip floated down to the dark woods with a parachute.  She saw a big log sitting near the big brown tree. Chip cannot jump high but she can go through the log because she is small.  It is nearly night and Chip had to get another parachute, but she can’t get another one so she walked back to her pink home. When Chip got home she was happy, but very tired.

Once there was a soccer player called Sam.  He made a huge massive rocket plane.  He blasted off to the blue planet Mars with his cat and dog.  His cat was scared of the darkness.  Sam landed in the middle of Mars.  Bump! “Hello”.  “Who said that?”  “Over here.”  “Oh hi, what do you want?” said Sam.  “My ship’s broken” said a friendly alien.  “Do you have a parachute?”  “Yes”.  Weeee, he floats down to his home.  He has a lot of tools.  He gets a ladder and pulls the top bit and climbs up.  He fixes the alien’s ship.  He blasts back to his house.  He forgot to put away his huge ladder, so he breaks the ladder down and puts it against a big tree.

Once there was a little six year old and his name was Paynee and he was an astronaut.  He liked inventing rockets that could fly.  So on Saturday he built a rocket.  It flew 100 metres. He saw a 6 metre alien.  Boom, crash, bash!  “What was that?” said Paynee.  It was the alien, his ship had broken down. Paynees ladder was also broken because it had fallen down on a hard rock.  A diplodocus made his way through the forest.  He saw Paynee and the alien.  He stretched his neck until it came up to them.  He said to Paynee “Climb down my neck”.
